Hopefully all the bugs in the CSS and HTML have been fixed and the blog has no problems with its layout. I tried my hardest to get Cloister Black for the header, but it wasn't working out so there's a bit of Photoshop instead. Time will tell if it stays up there or if I eventually take it down in favor of a simpler design. If that happens, I'll put that little descriptive text back where it belongs instead of shoving it into a tiny space to keep the design uniform. Here's to the new blog.
Death by Idea is a concept describing how I've often felt when yet another idea hits me, and when they hit, they usually do it hard. I've come across ideas for science fiction, fantasy, modern contemporary, even vampire fiction when I deviate from my normal diet before bedtime.
These ideas aren't limited to writing. I am also an amateur artist, and while it is mainly a hobby, I dabble between a stylized manga and realistic manga artform. I can't draw animals well, I can't draw buildings well, I can't draw a lot of things well, but I do like designing characters and attempting interaction between them. I own a tablet that is seldom used, and a sketchbook that sees little more use if only for the fact that I can concentrate on the book more when watching television or listening to music.
Despite this, I'm saving money for Copic markers and trying to put together a plot for a webcomic based on my daily life and its ridiculous occurrences thanks to being employed across the street from a major top ten population university. It would also include funny and unfunny things based on conversations with my lovely girlfriend, real friends, and a digital bro of mine.
Overall, Death by Idea will encompass my ideas, my hopes, my dreams, and will hopefully grow to be a place that my friends, and hopefully in the future, people I don't know, will come to see what I'm doing. Expect the expected, but maybe every once in a while I'll surprise you.
